So who am I? Well, my story is quite long and it would take endless nights to finish it. I will try to be as short as possible and not bore you right in the beginning.

In summary

My name is Nurul Chowdhury. My origins are from Bangladesh but I have travelled a lot. Spent my childhood in Dubai and Bahrain. At the age of 24 went to France where I spent 17 years and at present in Ireland since 2006. I am a married man and have two wonderful daughters aged 7 and 12.

I had started my career as a computer specialist and then for a few years was involved in Commercial business.

My latest career highlights

I am a finance professional. I work as a Business Performance Analyst for a drinks manufacturing industry. I love numerical analysis, I built up my career around it. I look at the performance of the business and give my conclusion on the performance. My speciality “Scorecards”.

So you may be asking what am I doing in the internet and what is my blog all about.

Why am I here ? This is more of a Confession (update October 2010)

As many of you, I have a dream too, to start an online business some day. I started my online venture in December 2008, just shortly after Christmas.

I stumbled upon a site called SBI on October 2008 and started falling in love with it. I think I had spent about 3 months, watching and watching and watching all the videos, reading all the SBIer experiences (that’s how they call themselves). So much interesting information that I stayed with my mouth wide open.

Site Build It or SBI is an excellent webhosting company with integrated marketing modules and training centre. It helps you develop your perfect business model. You decide what you want to do and create your own business around it. No please don’t get me wrong it is nothing close to GET RICH QUICK SCHEME.

People who have succeeded with SBI are those who have built an online business based around their passion, or their skills or their experience.

I liked that theory, I was looking for something I could write about, I could share with everyone and hence the idea of creating my own website on computers.

Please note that at that stage, I had no clue how to build a website, neither did I know what was html, php or SEO etc..

So I bought their package around the 1st week of January 2009, a very reasonable price and went thru the 10 day training videos, well it took me a bit more than that. LOL

I finally built my website http://Master-Your-Computer.com on 30th of January 2009 and built my first 5 pages in the following weeks and the last page was updated around March 2009.

At that time, this blog did not exist. This blog was created on July 2009.

Greed Overcame Passion

Yes, it can be so true. As I was getting more familiar with the internet, I stumbled upon various opportunities and you can guess what! I got distracted from my website and launched myself in Network Marketing. The greed for getting rich quick started penetrating my brain and I totally forgot my website or should I say ignored.

But unfortunately, this was my biggest mistake as I was not successful, I started buying more and more products, always in the hope of earning some money. Yeah, earned some money but never a steady income. I was lucky enough to have my day job to keep me running.

I tried everything, from network marketing to affiliate marketing, blogging and what not. What I was lacking was the passion and that is what killed me. I did not like network marketing as I was selling people dreams which may not come true for them (people who may have experienced my situation).

Next attack: Affiliate marketing, yes this is where I started making some cash but as usual, nothing residual, this is where I started buying domain names and creating affiliate blogs.

But to maintain, you have to be pretty good in SEO, do tons of back links, and do a lot of keyword research. Either you do with free online services (zero effectiveness) or you buy the products (zero bank balance). Not to forget the hours of hard work you have to put on it.

My worst enemy was that I did not really like what I was doing but doing it for the sake of earning. Lack of Desire and Passion. I spend more than what my pocket could afford. Hmmm those get rich quick schemes really got me.

Fast forward and a drastic decision

2 weeks back, I was chatting with one of my friend with whom I was participating in a 30day blog challenge. She was going to buy a back link software for $197. Don’t know what happened my thoughts came back to Site Build It!

Now you can imagine the change that took place in me. I have started cleaning up my blog from all those articles that I have posted and now you will find real success stories about people with passion who earn money. Ways you could do yourself. Yes, I am owner of 2 SBI packages now and also promote SBI.

Conclusion

I have returned back to Site Build It! As honestly, I think that it is the best honest way to earn an income online today. No Scam because it is your business that you create and they just help you succeed.

My computer website earns me a few from time to time with just 5 pages only and I am sure if I work on it sincerely then I shall make it earn better.

So I am going to dedicate this blog entirely to helping people to stay focused and find their way to a steady online business.

There are a few e-books that you can download and also a video you may like to watch if you are looking for a genuine online business. It will be tough in the beginning but I assure you that the end result will be fruitful. But be certain that this is not a GET RICH QUICK SCHEME.

The success does not lie in joining a SUPERB program but how you implement it. And do bear in mind, earning money is totally dependent on you. How much effort you put into your business, will determine the end result.

Following a great leader earning millions does not mean that you will do the same. Who knows you may even earn more than him or you may not earn a penny. So the heart of the business really is YOU. Put your Passion to work and you will succeed.
